Fifth interactive module for students of the Faculty Futura within the project “VISEGRAD for Serbia: Bridging the gap between Education and Environmentally friendly Development in Practice”
Fifth interactive module for students of the Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura within the project “VISEGRAD for SERBIA: Bridging the gap between Education and Environmentally-friendly Development in Practice” was held on April 5th and 6th 2016. The lectures were attended by students of final years of bachelor studies and master studies, within syllabus of the following courses: Ecoclimatology, Integrated GIS, Project management in environmental protection, Conservation and improvement of biological values and resources, Conservation and improvement of genetic resources, Natural Values and Sustainable tourism.
Two-days workshop was held by professors of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Széchenyi István University in Győr, PhD Attila J. Kovács, and PhD Gabor Milics.
Students had the opportunity to improve their knowledge on the application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and data collection and measurement methods for agricultural production planning purposes and to apply gained knowledge through practical exercises.
